Acid Washes

Sometimes a full drain and acid wash of pool is required to remove stubborn stains from an improperly winterized pool. In a residential environment, a drain and clean with an acid washing of the pool will rarely, if ever, be required. Careful and complete winterization will allow the pool to be filled and started year after year. In the event of major repair work requiring draining of the pool, improper chemical treatment for the winter, or the lack of a high quality cover, staining may occur that can only be removed through a thorough drain and clean.

Chemical Treatments

Every pool has characteristics that must be regularly measured and adjusted. Most important are the pH and the level of active sanitizer. By testing these two factors at regular intervals, you'll understand how bather load, weather and product application affect the water. The chemicals you choose are very important to your local situation. Allow our experts to assist with any questions you might have, plus help you save money by applying our manufacturer discounts to your chemical purchases through us.

Cleaners

Our professional staff is standing by to help you choose the correct cleaner for your pool. Suction-Side Cleaners | Pool Cleaner hose attaches to skimmer; suction is generated from your pool pump. These Cleaners move around the pool in a random pattern, depositing debris into your pool?s filter system. Simple to install and operate, low cost and comes with a proven track record. Pressure-Side Cleaners | Pool Cleaner hose attaches to pool return (where water flows back into pool from the filter). The force of water moves the Cleaner and creates a vacuum, depositing dirt and debris into a bag or your pool?s internal filter. Distributes filtered water throughout the pool; will not clog filter with debris. Robotic Cleaners | Robotic Cleaners have their own filtration system (they do not attach to your pool?s pump or filter system). Most units are programmable; many can be operated by remote control. Self-contained filtration eases wear on your pump and filter. This is the fastest method of cleaning.

Pump Repair

A properly working pool pump will keep your pools water circulating. This will prevent algae from growing as well as keep your pools water looking crystal clear. A pool pump that is working correctly should be quiet, dry, and should not have any air bubbles inside of it. If you are noticing air bubbles coming through the return fittings in the pool, more than likely a there is a suction leak between the skimmer and pool pump. If your pump is leaking water it could be that the mechanical seal, or seal plate gasket has failed. In some situations, replacing your pool pump could be the best solution. Although you may not realize it, your pool pump could be over-sized. We constantly see pools that are equipped with 2 horsepower pumps when they could be utilizing a 3/4 horsepower pump, which would save on electricity costs.

Filter Service, Repair and Replacement

Is your pool starting to look green? Have you noticed some leaks around the filter? Is there debris returning into the pool? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might need someone to look at your pool?s filter. The good thing about pool filters is they are fairly simple when you compare them to other pieces of pool equipment. Even though they are simple, pool filters are essential in keeping your pools water clean. Instead of trying to tackle your pool filter repair yourself, you should contact a professional who can take care of the hassle for you. Not only will Easy Pools clean your pool filter, we will inspect the filter?s grids/cartridges, check all o-rings and manifolds. Even a small tear in one of your filters grids or cartridges can significantly reduce the ability to filter the water. If you are planning on replacing your pool filter, there are different manufacturers, sizes and types from which to choose. We can assist you in properly sizing the pool filter based on the water capacity of your pool, and the existing pool equipment.
